Students in the grade 3 TAG class have chosen project based learning tasks to complete. One group is in the beginning stages of creating a video game design of their own. The rest of the students have chosen a task that is based on a NASA challenge called "Can a Shoebox Fly." These students are learning about aerodynamics so that they can successfully create a glider that has an intact shoebox as the main material.
Students in the grade 4 TAG class took an Interest-A-Lyzer which was developed by Joseph Renzilli at UCONN. By completing this survey, students can analyze their responses and determine an area of high interest for a long term research project.
